Castanets BAS(Broadcast Automation System ) is real automatic multi-channel casting system which has automated the existing manual type of multi-channel casting process.
It stores and casts recorded images of programs of broadcasting, cable TV, satellite broadcasting, and of VCR. For digital images, it stores or recasts them without encoding. As the whole processes of encoding and casting are automatically proformed according to the input schedule, it minimizes errors that could be generated by service operators.
Castanets BAS control and monitors all broadcasting equipment from a control center, and provides an integrated operation management program, which enables efficient ans convenient servvice operation. It provides high-quality image services through digitalization of media assets, enables the stable playout automation through the industry standard open server, and makes it possible to increase channels and storage capacity easily. |
