This site is run by the central governments disease management agency. This agency utilizes the site to prevent any bio terror in homeland and to collect and analyze bio terrorism information. Starting in 2004, in addition to bio terrorism watch network, emergency surveillance system and K-ProMED system is operating together as one counter bio terrorism network system.
Infection Professional Network (K-ProMED) This system is operated by Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) and Korea Infection
Study Group. Their primary goal for the 21st century is to confront emerging and reemerging diseases with more advanced and specialized surveillance system, protect the health of all Koreans and alleviate disease burden.
Enhanced Emergency Syndromic Surveillance System This is the most upgraded version of bio terror surveillance system. This system gathers all the possible and potential victims of bio terror who has suspicion of such a syndrome and put them in a close watch under the KCDC.
