EuDx™-PN MLC Detection Kit
Description
The One-tube multiplex respiratory bacteria detection kit (EuDxTM-PN) developed
by our company is able to diagnose Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae,
which are known as the main cause for atypical pneumonia, and Legionella pneumophila
(sg 1-15) all at the same time based on molecular biological techniques utilizing Real-time
PCR equipment. Swift diagnosis of the pathogen causing communal pneumonia, the main
cause of death among infectious diseases, is possible through this product,
and we expect an increased therapeutic effect of antibiotic treatments
with the aid of early discovery and diagnosis of such pathogens.
Description
The One-tube multiplex respiratory bacteria detection kit (EuDxTM-PN) developed
by our company is able to diagnose Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae,
which are known as the main cause for atypical pneumonia, and Legionella pneumophila
(sg 1-15) all at the same time based on molecular biological techniques utilizing Real-time
PCR equipment. Swift diagnosis of the pathogen causing communal pneumonia, the main
cause of death among infectious diseases, is possible through this product,
and we expect an increased therapeutic effect of antibiotic treatments
with the aid of early discovery and diagnosis of such pathogens.

The pneumoniae diagnosis kit being developed by our company is being developed through internal R&D, and we have improved upon other existing commercially produced diagnosis kits to allow for the diagnosis of 3 types of pathogens with a one tube reaction. Especially in the case of Legionella pneumophila, the kit is able to detect all of sero group 1-15, which can cause pathogenicity by infecting the human body, and we expect the kit to contribute greatly to the detection rate of Legionella pneumophila, which has been left out from diagnosis processes before. The one tube technique also increases user convenience for more efficient inspections.
