SILCROAD SOFT Corporation is a professional system software development and solution company. The SilCROAD (Smart, Interactive, and Live Change-data-capture Replicating Oracle to Any Database) is our company’s main product and is based on an original data base cloning function. The SILCROAD allows real-time data base cloning functions and solutions, such as a Real-time Replication, Zero-Loss Disaster Recovery and Transparent Win-back functions. We are a service distributor that provides redundant databases for data integration and management systems, internal analysis, auditing, load balancing, high availability, backup and recovery, and data integration. The name of this service is SILCROAD. Service Usage and Characteristics 1) Operating system Change-Data-Capture (CDC) software that synchronizes the Oracle database in real-time to an information-based heterogeneous database. 2) Used to build redundant databases for internal analysis, auditing, load balancing, high availability, backup and recovery, and data integration. Service Features The only CDC products available with full Oracle real-time synchronization are OGG, Shareplex and SILCROAD (own products) all over the world. Because other CDC products can not directly analyze the Oracle redo log, real-time synchronization, the most important performance in CDC, is not possible. In other words, CDC products other than OGG and Shareplex are not comparable to SILCROAD. Because OGG is an Oracle vendor, it does not actively support synchronization between heterogeneous DBMSs, and Shareplex is receiving Oracle's real-time synchronization technology from Oracle for a fee. In common, both products are taking monopoly high price policy. SILCROAD has several heterogeneous synchronization solutions between DBMSs and has its own Oracle redlog analysis technology. It also has similar performance to the two products, but is much cheaper.
