Introduction
Ribbon Mixer is a device that structures fluidized zone. The mixer has impeller located in its
housing, and this impeller, with each of its wings facing the opposite direction, moves and mixes
the raw material. When this happens, raw material which was originally sitting at the bottom of the housing rises and concentrates itself at the mid-upper part of the housing. This causes increase in the volume of raw material, yet inter-collision or mutual-friction between mixed raw material decreases.
Furthermore, this reduces the area of contact between the housing and the raw material,
minimizing the raw material’s damage caused by shocks from friction.
Meanwhile, since the mixer itself is free of inside friction, it is designed to preserves the particle’s
original form as well as to minimize the pressure applied upon such parts as its rotor and its
outlet.

Characteristic
1. Smooth Mixing:
The rotation occurs in a slow speed, which completely prevents stress from shock. This
minimizes the damage of raw material and maximizes the mixing efficiency.
2. Economical Mixing:
Operates with small amount of energy, so processing fee can be saved and production can be
optimized. Mass production with small scale of equipment is possible.
Thus, initial equipment cost and operation cost is inexpensive.

Ribbon Mixer is used for mixing raw material, and its main feature is its impeller moving toward
opposite side.
