SHOWA DENKO of Japan synthesized hexagonal Boron Nitride for the first time in Japan to produce and sell its powder and molding. Through joint research with Nippon Graphite Industries, Ltd, a manufacturer of solid lubricant, the company developed, produced, and sold high performing hexagonal Boron Nitride lubricating and release agent 「ル-ビ-エヌ��LBN」. Hexagonal Boron Nitride is a white powder with excellent lubricating and releasing quality. It is known to have a similar stratification with graphite and disulphide M0S2.
