Off-peak machine controller should be manufactured under the provision of Korea Electric Power Corporation and its certificate can be received after passing the performance tests of Korea Electric Power Corporation-designated testing institutions, including Korea Electric technology Research Institute and Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency. And, the product with no certification is not allowed to attach controller on off-peak electric boiler as well as water heater. Manufacturing companies of electric boiler and water heater can also received post-treatment at the institution only after passing performance tests at both Korea Electric technology Research Institute and Korea Occupational Safety & Health Agency, and only the certified controller from post management institution can be utilized. Stoppage and cancellation of certification are made for the violation of rules mentioned above, so it is required to utilize only certified products.
