Weight reduces and aging control: Refer to reports of Choi Jin Ho etc (1992), during 16 weeks of experiment of serving meal with 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% of alginic acid, it proved that reduced the weight to 100%, 89.6%, 70.2% and 50.6% respectively, and reducing lipid peroxidation and cholesterol on mitochondria and microsome and also it reduced contents of phospholipids etc similarly.
3. Promotion of eliminating fat and harmful toxic matters: Song Yeong Sun and Kang Hee Jeong (1997) said that potassium alginate proves the high blood pressure preventive effect by controling cholesterol creation from liver and fat absorption by combine with bile acid, and refer to report of professor Lee Sang Bong (1986) of Gyeongsang University, by feeding alginic acid contained feed.
