CARVAR Set consists of a Rootcon�� applied to Annulus and Sinotubular Junction areas and a Leafcon�� used for leaflet reconstruction. CARVAR��, acronym for Comprehensive Aortic Root and Valve Repair, is the name of new valvuloplasty technique that comprehensively corrects both Aortic Root and Valve.
The concept of CARVAR��technique was first established in 1992 by Dr. Meong-Geun Song (South Korea). Since then, a number of animal tests were conducted and finally the first clinical trial on human was conducted in December, 1997.
