Introduction
SOD1 (recombinant human Cu/Zn Superoxide Dismutase) is a homodimer, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 154 amino acids and having a total molecular mass of 31.6KDa.
-ORIGIN : Human
-SOURCE : A DNA sequence corresponding to the mature human SDO1 protein sequence was expressed in E. coli. SOD1 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
-PURITY : >90%, as determined by HPLC and SDS-PAGE (with β-mercaptoethanol)
-FORMULATION : Lyophilized from a concentrated (1mg/ml) solution in 30 mM potassium phosphate.
-RECONSTITUTION : It is recommended that sterile deionized water be added to the vial to prepare a working stock solution of 0.1-1mg/ml.
-STORAGE : Lyophilized samples are stable for twelve months from date of receipt at -20 °C to -70 °C. Upon reconstitution, this protein can be stored under sterile conditions at -20 °C to -70 °C. Avoided repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
