We have launched ACRYCOTE^® products for water-based inks and overprint varnishes (OPV) used in the paper and corrugated board industry.

ACRYCOTE^® AP-3407 expanded our product portfolio with water-based styrene-acrylic emulsions. Thanks to its high efficiency, the product allows inks and OPV to be manufactured at lower cost but with the same performance and high quality. Furthermore, it exhibits good water resistance, transparency, and gloss in ink and OPV formulations.

In particular, ACRYCOTE^® APC-200 is a pure acrylic emulsion for paper coating that exhibits an excellent water resistance, heat sealability, and a high performance of vapor barrier. ACRYCOTE^® APC-200 is designed to be environment-friendly, meeting the food-packaging standard of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA). When applied to coating material for food containers such as disposable paper cups and plates, ACRYCOTE^® APC-200 helps the waste- and environment-conscious communities to further conserve natural environment by making it much easier to recycle/reuse a valuable resource of virgin pulp that is made into disposable paper containers for food.
