The purpose of important thing to use sticky trap intend to detect and monitor within a short period of time and to know easily how many adults there are specially in the early season monitoring and also how to control as considering economic injury levels(EITs) and economic thresholds(ETs).

The effect of sticky trap depends on which insect species, insect population, trap color(yellow, blue, white etc), size, shape(circle, square, rectangle etc), trap position(upper, middle, lower) and interval(5M, 10M).

Concerning to visual attractants, yellow or blue mostly often used than white are taking advantages of monitoring and mass trapping with overlooked pest management tool such as winged aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafminers etc. in greenhouse. In case of Whiteflies(Trialeurodes vaporariorum, Bemisia tabaci etc.), Leafminers(Iriomyza trifolii etc.) and winged aphid(Aphis gossypii, Myzus persicae etc.), yellow is more effective than blue but regarding to Thrips(Frankliniella intonsa, Frankliniella occidentalis etc.) blue is more effective than yellow. Most of users think that yellow traps are used in a monitoring program quite often better than any other colors though.
