Coffee Roaster (sohnaro)
-Based on a new technology, this roaster extracts the best taste from coffee beans. As a roasting machine for coffee beans, the product adapts an inverter control mechanism where a single motor transfers the power (ventilation, cooling, drum and inverter) under an all-in-one CAM driving method.
The drum and stir are important parts of the product which ensure the constant color and taste of coffee. Based on an accurate calculation of calories, the thickness of the drum is adjusted to fit the amount. When the raw beans are inserted, the temperature of the drum increases immediately. Meanwhile, the stir uses the principle of the Mobius strip to roast coffee beans constantly under any circumstances. Cooling is quick, within three minutes, and by using an automatic ventilation system, the product can adjust itself to the surrounding conditions. Primary and secondary dust-collecting are available. Compared with other roasters where a duct is necessary to cover the heat (about 200C) discharged during the roasting process, our product discharges lesser heat (about 50C) by adapting an air-mix method. The discharge of lesser heat makes our product more environment-friendly.
The roaster of our company is the first product to install a tertiary reheating device, increasing efficiency by reusing heat during smoke control and roasting. The device also decreases the amount of pollutants created during gas combustion, removing the smell of gas or other impurities during the roasting process. As a result, fresh coffee uninfluenced by pollutants and impurities can be extracted.
It is actually difficult for a novice user to roast coffee beans properly. Based on the principle and technology of mechanics, however, our product allows any user to roast coffee beans by simply operating automated programs. The automated programs store the profiles of professional roasters to support various roasting techniques.

1. The mechanic principle of Sohnaro is an all-in-one CAM driving method which links all parts through a single main motor.
2. The strength of an all-in-one driving method is that it uses a single motor to minimize malfunctioning and A/S. The method has a long lifespan and uses less fuel. In addition, it can adapt an automated digital program that can process hundreds of tasks per second.
3. Drum: Based on an accurate calculation of calories, the thickness of the drum is adjusted to fit the amount, allowing an accurate amount of roasting. Our product, with a capacity of 3kg, can roast up to 3.5kg.
4. Stir: The stir uses the principle of the Mobius strip (endless line) to roast coffee beans constantly without any delay.
5. Burner: Efficiently uses the burner capacity (While roasting, the product uses less than 1/3 of the burner’s capacity). The product’s reheating devices recycle heat during roasting to minimize the use of burner capacity (explained in detail below).

9. Temperature control: The discharge temperature is measured by an analog thermometer, while the temperature of the beans is measured by a digital thermometer. (Before inserting the beans, the temperature of the drum is measured instead).
10. The core technology of Sohnaro - secondary and tertiary reheating devices
The secondary and tertiary reheating devices brought great changes to coffee roasters. Reheating not only allows the control of smoke, but also removes even the finest dust. Since the device removes combustion gas generated by the use of gas during roasting, it also removes foul odor and pollutants. The device also removes combustion gas that can enter the drum of air-heating/semi air-heating products. The heat-recycling process of the device increases energy efficiency during roasting. A separate smoke-controller is not needed, saving cost & fuel (both gas and electricity), as well as eliminating the inconvenience of cleaning. By using our product, users can enjoy the pleasure of saving energy and space.
11. Duct-free: Compared with other roasters where a duct is necessary to cover the heat (about 200C) discharged during the roasting process, Sohnaro discharges less heat (about 50C) by adapting an air-mix method. Thus, duct and other devices are not necessary, making installation and moving convenient.
12. The product adapts a touch panel to run the digital program, making the operation of the machine very simple. Through the manual, semi-automatic and automatic system, even novice users can roast coffee perfectly.
(It is difficult for a novice user to roast coffee beans properly, because the roasting requires technique and experience. To overcome such problem, our product allows users to roast coffee beans by simply operating more than 100 automated programs which fit the roasting techniques of expert baristas.)
13. Check-up devices for A/S or routine inspection: By installing a spare nozzle, the condition of the product can be assessed through a general gauge. This gauge tells the accurate timing of replacing parts and conducting inspections.
