This Gamhongju descends up to this day in the family of late Lee Kyung-Chan (nationally designated as ‘Important intangible Cultural Property 86-Ga’ in 1986). Lee Ki-Sook, his second daughter who was handed down the method of brewing Moonbaesul and Gamhongro from her father, established a corporation with her husband in 2005. She is the only person who can brew Gamhongro in Korea.
