PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Bed Head Unit consolidates delivery of electrical and provides management of medical gas device for the patient's convenience.
Surface mounting facilitates installation, removal, and relocation of service. Modular insert panels allow selection of a range of electrical services including critical, normal, and low voltage services.
The Bed Head Unit either though the back or ends of the unit. Bed Head Unit is designed to be mounted directly onto the Medical Gas Rail or used as a stand alone product, or as a component of the Patient Service System.
Mounting hardware shall be specified separately by the customer and be provided by the manufacturer. Bed Head Unit shall be designed to mount onto most surfaces, including free-standing structures and have the capacity to span windows and turn corners.
Bed Head Unit is 1,280mm length and shall have metal and plates and field adjustable and caps. Electrical services are delivered to either though the back or ends of the unit.
Bed Head Unit backshall be extruded aluminum and shall have powder coated finish. Panels shall be variablein length and be easy to remove, service or change.
Electrical receptacles shall be 220volt, hospital grade single or duplex for either critical or normal power.
Additional electrical devices and or service such as chart/night lights, ground jacks, surge suppressant receptacles, etc, are alsoavailable on request or per the plans and specifications.
Low voltage services are provided by using a low voltage module that is integrated into the Bed Head Unit.
The length of the low voltage housing is determined by the type and number of low voltage supplied, installed and wired by others.
