[ Product Description ]
We cultivate peanut seeds into peanut sprouts by water sprinkling method in a dark room for 7 to 8 days. Peanut Sprouts are germinated in a room stacked with cultivation shelves of eight layers of seed beds. The seed beds are designed to allow each of peanut kernels to be placed individually for growth without getting soaked by water. The peanut kernels grow downwards through drainage holes in the seed beds with the hypocotyls and roots hanging downwards. The cultivation rooms are automatically controlled and provide an optimal environment for the sprouts to be protected from aerobic bacteria, fungi, sunlight, and etc.
When the peanut seeds are germinated into sprout vegetables, the amount of lipids and calories are reduced while many types of vitamins are created. Also contained in peanut sprouts are align, asparagine, eight kinds of polyphenols, isoflavones and anthocyans for the overall health promotion.
Since the shelf life of fresh sprout vegetables is short, the sprouts are vacuum packed in a can for preservation of a long period of time up to over two years. The soil typed peanut sprouts can be easily scooped from a can, removed from the water, and used for food reserves.
Peanut sprouts in a can are crispy with an aromatic taste and pickled sprouts are vinegar cured in a bottle for crispiness and sweet and sour taste. So they go well with all kinds of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes such as salad, roasted and fried food, sweet-sour pork, stew, and so forth.
