BIO 7 Insecticidal principle

• It is a protective fungicide and provided good disease control only when applied before or initial infection of crop pathogen.
• It inhibits spore germination, hyphae growth, and huastorium formation of pathogens by eliciting acyive defense responses of crop plants through enhancing the gene expression of leaf-specific thionin (a small cysteine-rich peptide with antimicrobial property).
• It induces crop plant localized resistance rather than systemic resistance against powdery mildew.
