What is IR Film?
It is a film that blocks harmful IR and hot radiant heat of UV from sunlight. It is film attached to windows of buildings and automobiles. It prevents heat loss of automobiles and buildings in the winter and blocks external radiant heat in the summer to protect the health of drivers and save the energy cost.
Typical sunlight blocks UV and visible rays, but it rarely blocks IR. Therefore, tinted window does not give cool or warmth. The IR block film effectively regulates IR wavelength by using inorganic material, dyes, and paints. It blocks the sun radiant heat in the summer and prevents the heat of the inside leaking outside in the winter.
