Water Pump, Pump Ass'y Coolant (NEW-K025, 25100-3C120)

[Functions]

The water pump is tightened with a bolt on the water block part of the cylinder, and circulates the cooling water by power delivered from the drive belt or drive gear of the water pump. The water pump sends the cooling water down to a water jacket that surrounds the cylinder & cylinder head, and the heated cooling water is then retrieved, put into the radiator, and cooled again. Once the cooling water is chilled in the radiator, it flows into the center of the impeller1), where it is pushed out by centrifugal force and goes to the cylinder block2) or cylinder head3). Once an engine, which is the heart of a car, becomes heated, cooling water must circulate to cool the heat. If the engine is overheated to a certain temperature, some of its parts may break. The circulation of the cooling water not only helps the engine but also activates the heater of vehicle, which is why the water pump is essential to a vehicle.
