ERP (Educationnal Robot Platform) 42 mini is a vehicle type mobile robot platform developed for autonomous driving education.
It is capable of 4 wheel drive and front wheel steering.
It has comparable driving, steering, and braking system as a real vehicle.


Therefore, by using an embedded controller, using the actual drivers and sensors, understanding the autonomous navigation system, and creating interfaces and control software, ERP42Mini will be the ideal education platform to develop actual automation navigation system.
Basically, ERP42Mini can be equipped with sensors such as LIDAR sensor, camera sensor and GPS, which are used for autonomous vehicle development.


The main sensor includes Slamtec RPLiDAR A2, LIDAR-Lite v3 (a high-performance optical distance measurement sensor from Garmin), Logitech C922 USB camera, and Ublox's C94-M8P RTK GPS module.


The autonomous navigation system of ERP42Mini can be mainly divided into the vehicle control system and sensor control system.
The vehicle control system was configured using the National Instrument myRIO Embedded Controller.
The sensor control system was configured to use various sensors using NEOUSYS's POC330 Rugged Embedded Controller.
A serial communication protocol (RS232C) is used to communicate between vehicle control system and sensor control system.


The programming for both systems is developed by National Instruments LabVIEW 2015 or later version

Self-driving platform (ERP-42)
- ERP42 V3.0 is fitted with a steering actuator (EPS) at the front and a drive motor at the rear to provide front wheel steering and rear wheel drive.
-The left-hand side is equipped with a switch panel, which features a power switch, an E-STOP platform battery voltage boltmeta, an LCD for mode checking, a cereal port, and a charging port.
