PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Overview
This is a facility that makes RDF(Refuse Derived Fuel) by sorting wastes.
Municipal waste(MSW) is a mixture of various types of waste. In order to utilize this as fuel, combustible wastes should be separated.
The purpose of this facility is to sort waste into combustible waste and incombustible wastes, and utilize the combustible waste as a substitute for existing fossil fuels such as coal.
This facility is a type in which various products are connected by conveyors. It consists of products for sorting by each type, such as a shredder, a trommel, a ballistic, and magnetic separators, etc.
 
Components
1. Shredder : shredding wastes and making it easy to segregate
2. Bag Opener : Cutting plastic bags for increasing the separating ratio
3. Trommel : Sorting Wastes by particle size
4. Gravity-air Ballistic : Sorting Wastes by Density and gravity
5. Drying System : Reducing moisture of wastes to increase the caloric value
6. Fine-shredder : To make the particle size equal for the final usage
 
Usage
The Sorting Process and components may vary depending on the customer's demand.
The finally separated wastes are called as RDF(Refuse Derived Fuel). You can use the RDF as an alternative to Coal.
Usually, the RDF is widely used in powerplant or cement factories.
 
Summary
1. This facility applied carbon reduction technology that can reduce methane gas generated from landfills. Therefore, among the WTE fields, it is evaluated as a climate crisis response technology.
