A-VDGS AIDA-1 is operated normally in an Auto mode by the VDGS Main Computer that is connected to the FIMS(Flight Information Management System), but it can be also operated by Manual Control Board (MCB) which is normally installed on the PBB if emergency situation.
Manual Control Board - Flexible Guidance System
AIDA-1 system includes a Manual Control Board(MCB) which has the application software on the embedded PC for manual control of the PDU so that the system can be operated actively and fast even in an emergency situation.
The MCB is a manual control panel for the control and status check of the PDU.
You can manually activate the contact service and check the status of the PDU internal components.
The menu on the MCB consists of PDU STATUS and PDU MAINTENANCE, which displays the current status and guide status of the PDU.
You can activate/cancel the application service.
The PDU MAINTENANCE allows you to check and check the status of components inside the PDU.
