AVOS(A-VDGS Operating System) is Gate operating system for aircraft access and induction control.
AVOS is a multi-user system consisting of an AVOS server and an AVOS client. AVOS provides airport operators with details of the AIDA-1 system, access and control, and event monitoring.
1)AVOS Server
Connects to airport systems, PDUs, AVOS clients, and databases to act as servers in charge of all aircraft access services.
There are three main categories of AVOS server functionality.
1. Collection of aircraft operation and operation information (link to airport system)
- The AVOS server, in conjunction with the airport system, collects aircraft flight information, aircraft stop guidance, and aircraft travel time information.
2. Collect and control PDU status information
- The AVOS server collects status information for PDUs installed at each gate and uses the information collected from the airport system to control the PDUs. It also directly executes the PDU control command requested by the AVOS client.
3. AVOS client central server
- The AVOS server manages multiple AVOS clients.
3.1 Managing AVOS Client Users
3.2 Provide PDU status information and control
3.3 Manage and provide aircraft flight information, gate logs, and user logs.
2)AVOS client
Connects to AVOS servers and DB servers to provide airport system association and PDU information to users.
3)DB Server
The AVOS system includes an internal DB server.
The DB server serves as a repository for storing logs and events on the AVOS system.
