KOSED-15
Product description
This equipment is used to separate and recover the oil contained in the water when an oil spill accident occurs at sea. It is an electric and electronic skimmer that breaks away from the hydraulic drive method of most existing skimmers. Driven by battery (DC48V) or converter (AC220V → DC48V conversion) depending on option (Operation is also possible using a 3kw small generator) It weighs 5/1 compared to hydraulic equipment and is characterized by safe and convenient maintenance with a low difficulty operation method by full-function remote control. In particular, since engine hydraulic power packs and hydraulic hoses are not required, the health and safety of workers due to exhaust fumes can be improved, unintentional secondary contamination due to bursting hydraulic lines can be prevented, and dispatch time in urgent situations such as oil spills can be dramatically reduced. It is a device that can be shortened to.
Overview
A disc-type electric skimmer equipped with a self-navigation device, suitable for recovering light oil.
Operating principle
Put the main body into the contaminated site, put oil on the rotating disk, separate it with a scraper, and collect it using the centrifugal pump installed on the lower part of the head.

Device Description
【Electric drive type skimmer】
KOSED-15 breaks away from the hydraulic drive method that conventional skimmers have adhered to, and solves the problems of existing hydraulic skimmers. It is an equipment that greatly improves the convenience of workers by improving the inconveniences that workers have experienced directly, such as lightening heavy equipment, simplifying accessory equipment with complex configurations, and improving the working environment. It was developed to improve convenience.
【 Device Features 】
The oil transfer pump (BLDC electric pump) applied to KOSED-15 is driven by direct supply of electricity from the power source, and has a higher driving force than the hydraulic pump of the existing hydraulic oil collector. This is the effect of simplifying the driving process of the pump. The hydraulic pump of the existing oil collector is operated through a process of 5 steps (engine→hydraulic pump→hydraulic distributor→hydraulic motor→oil transfer pump), whereas the electric pump of this technology Drive energy loss can be prevented by directly using the power from the battery for driving. This simplification of the process also has a side effect of removing auxiliary materials (hydraulic control unit, hydraulic line, etc.) installed inside the equipment, so that it can be made smaller and lighter than existing pumps, so high-efficiency work results can be expected.
Company Overview
we started our business as an advanced amphibious boats producer in 2014 We have registered 3 patents for the amphibious boat and applied for 3 additional patents for our own innovative technologies.
At the 2014 Busan international Boat show, Our exclusive technology have been widely recognized and ended with winning the Boat of the Year' category.
in 2017, We developed KOSED series (electric oil skimmers) together with Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation (KOEM)
KOEM was established in 1997 to maintain clean and abundant marine environment of Korea.
KOEM has 12 regional branches, 14 pollution response centers, 53 pollution response centers for fishing, 73 oil spill response vessels, 233 oil skimmers, 32,350m of al booms.
Alo We have registered patents and design domestically, and completed overseas PCT application and NeT (New Technology Certification) from Ministry of Maritime and Fisheries as it completed the joint research and development with the best resut in KOEM's history.
Recognized for itS excellence, we are a small but strong company that started. delvery 16 MOEM as wellas being selected by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries.
We will try to become leader in making the sea clean and prosperous by securing a high share in the global environmental control equipment and amphibious boat CEO Joong Jae, Kim
