Key Features
The differential gear device is a device that enables a change in the number of rotations of the left and right wheels of a car to rotate smoothly on a bumpy road and when turning, and consists of a differential gear case, a differential pinion, a pinion shaft, and a differential side gear. When a car goes straight on a flat road, the rotational resistance of the left and right driving wheels is the same, so the entire differential gear becomes a lump and rotates. When turning, the inner wheel feels resistance, so the number of rotations decreases compared to the outer wheel, and as the number of rotations of the inner wheel decreases, the differential pinion gear rotates to accelerate the outer wheel, allowing the car to rotate the corner smoothly.
