The superior properties of silicon rubber, unlike other conventional organic rubbers, are attributed to its unique double-sided nature, in which both inorganic and organic properties exist in molecular structure.

Thus, its inorganic properties, due to the siloxane bond (Si-O), the main chain in the molecular structure, make it superior to general organic rubber in heat resistance, chemical safety, electrical insulation, abrasion resistance and gloss.

Additionally, Polydimethylsiloxane, a basic material of silicon rubber, is a long chain high polymer that forms a spiral structure and has a small intermolecular attraction, exhibiting a rich elasticity, excellent compression, permanent banding and excellent cold resistance. The organic methyl group of the side chain exhibits organic properties such as excellent reactivity, solubility, and workability as well as to the interfacial properties such as water repellency and dimorphism that silicon can only have.

It is a baby nipple that is similar to actual one produced with the technology of SILICHEM.
