[Product Descrition]
Busduct is a medium of delivering electric energy, which is gaining more recognition these days thanks to its many strength, replacing cables for its functions. The wooden version was first introduced in 1907 and from 1925, metal ducts were made available. In 1965, Japan manufactured air insulating type, which was already old-fashioned in Korea. In 1984, the manufacturing of the compact style ducts initiated.
In the organizational perspective, busducts and cables both have a conductor and an insulator. But, busduct can deliver more energy with the same amount of conductor.
Cables use vinyl or rubber to protect and insulate conductors, while busducts use steel housing for the protection of a conductor and an insulator and retaining shape as an insulator cannot protect busducts.
Busducts were finally commercialized in the 20C, and the recognition of their strengths in a large-scale system has led to a huge increase in sales.
As buildings got taller and bigger, so was the electric system. There was an increasing demand for bigger capacity of energy, an enhancement of energy efficiency, bio-engineered design, and eco-friendly and economical system. To this end, busducts that are safe and reduce energy loss can be installed in harmony with modern architecture.
SH busducts are supplied to a wide range of fields including factories, buildings, apartments, shopping malls, studio apartments, research centers, department stores, golf courses, tunnel semiconductor, LCD factories, chemical, oil refinery, steel making, high-rise buildings, IDC buildings, ultra high voltage substations of 765kV, LNG acquisition sites, new airports, and ports.
