With the combination of latest technology and Asian tradition, LG Household & Health Care developed bamboo salt toothpaste in 1990s, and also acquired the nations very first JIS mark for synthesis detergent and has been acknowledged for leading technology. The household goods business produces products in six different categories: 1. Oral care products such as toothpastes and toothbrushes 2. Skin care products such as soaps and body cleansers 3. Hair care products including shampoos, conditioners, hair styling products 4. Laundry products such as detergents and fabric softeners 5. Paper products like disposable diapers and wet tissues 6. Recently, with the increased concern of environment, LG has developed environment friendly products to actively reflect our consumers needs. In 1993, LG Household & Health Care opened the first household goods store owned by Korean nationality in Guang Dong province, China. Moreover, also by setting up Beijing LG Household joint venture, it has targeted itself to be one of the top 10 household goods manufacturers in the world, and is continually working hard to reach the goal.
